Erin Shannon-Auel

Over the past 30 years, Erin has guided organizations through critical business transformations, fostered companies’ efforts to build their in-house change management capabilities, developed enterprise change management and project management offices from the ground up, and led multiple M&A's; as both a business leader and an independent consultant. Throughout, she has routinely served as a trusted advisor to C-level executives in companies of varying sizes and missions.

Erin’s proficiency in recognizing and maximizing other people's strengths and unique qualities has resulted in the creation of superb, high-endurance teams that have a tremendous impact across organizations. Her abilities to interpret and translate between disparate groups have enabled the process to achieve the desired results, while creating a more aligned and collaborative environment. Erin’s capacity to function at both strategic and detail levels, transitioning effortlessly between the two, provides her clients with a unique resource and experience.

Erin led the Business Transformation Office at Evolent Health, the Enterprise Project Management Office at Medecision, and multiple organizations at Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield; including the Transformation Office, M&A Planning & Execution, Strategic Planning, and Healthcare Consulting.

Erin is experienced in using the Conner Partners' change execution methodology and Prosci change management methodology. She is certified and experienced as a Prosci Facilitator and Instructor, a Prosci Change Practitioner, and in the Barrett Values Centre Cultural Transformation Tools.

Erin holds a bachelor’s degree in English from the Pennsylvania State University. She is an active member of the Association of Change Management Professionals, the Change Management Institute, and the Organization Development Network. She has volunteered her time and skills to non-profit arts and sports organizations to resolve their governance, structure, and stewardship needs. Erin lives with her husband, their English Setter, and her Blue-fronted Amazon parrot in Pittsburgh, PA.
