Ricardo Monardez

Ricardo Monardez is Managing Director of The Taligens Group, a Houston, TX-based international consulting group specializing in culture change and alignment, where he leads the design and implementation of broad consulting programs, as well as individual coaching for executives and senior leaders across all geographies and industries.

He has over 25 years of experience as a functional director for a Fortune 500 Company, as well as a management consultant. Having been on both sides of the strategic change management table, Ricardo brings a strong managerial and business background to his work as a consultant, including significant experience designing and implementing strategic and culture change programs in organizations large and small, such as Lincoln Electric, Voith, Citigroup, ADP, BBVA, Steelcase, Cemex and many more.

He is one of the early adopters of Ontological Design and Commitment-based Management, and is an expert organizational development practitioner, internationally experienced business process designer, executive coach and workshop leader; who helps his clients successfully deploy strategic change.

His broad industry experience ranges from financial services, to manufacturing, to automotive, to energy; having led several high-level projects dealing with a wide spectrum of business challenges, from commercial development, to complex IT / Systems deployment, Business Process Redesign, and Post Merger Integration.

Prior to joining Taligens, Ricardo was Global Director of Organizational Development for Lincoln Electric, first in Europe and then at the Global Headquarters, overseeing the full scope of OD efforts across the organization, from talent identification and Hi-Po management, to leadership development and performance management; and across all geographies, from the US, to China, to India, to Brazil and Europe.

Ricardo holds a M.Arch. from the University of Chile. His career has taken him to live and work in Mexico, the US and Europe. After spending 5 years in Barcelona, Ricardo relocated back to Houston, TX; where he is also the President of the Houston Organization Development Network (HODN).
