Shannon Gill

Shannon Gill uses her 25 years of business and leadership experience combined with advanced work in positive psychology, leadership development, and intuitive intelligence to drive transformational change for organizations and individuals.  Her diverse combination of strategy, learning and development, product, operations and consulting from Fortune 100 to start up organizations in three different regions of the world, along with 20+ years leading people, bring a unique perspective to her clients for both team development and getting results.

Prior to Crossing Point, Shannon was Head of Strategy (North America) for Elavon, part of U.S. Bancorp and a top five merchant acquirer processor.  In this role, she spent three years driving strategic direction, investment, and focus, while serving on the Executive Leadership team for North America.  She also spent eleven years at TSYS, a Fortune 1000 player in the Payments space.  During her time at TSYS, she led professional services consultants working on behalf of clients during software conversions (mostly in Europe), stood up and ran the Learning and Development function after TSYS spun out from its parent company and finally joined the newly formed product team as Product Strategy and Chief of Staff where she worked closely with the new Head of Global Product in growing the Product organization from two FTE to 150 in 3 years.

Before TSYS, Shannon served as Director of Operations for a start-up education company in Baltimore, MD (e-Sylvan). She also spent five years living in Hong Kong where she developed consumer products (mostly hardgoods) while working for The Walt Disney Company and got her first job after Undergrad as the only Western employee for a family owned Chinese Watch Manufacturer back in 1993.

Shannon has her MBA from Georgetown University in Washington DC, and her BA from St. Andrews College in Laurinburg, NC (with a year at Stirling University in Scotland). She is a facilitator of Development Dimensions International (DDI) leadership training, a Birkman certified consultant, a Life and Career Coach with The Life Purpose Institute, and trained in McNellis Compression Planning, among other certifications.

When she is not working, Shannon writes children’s books around her positive, mindfulness character “Cosmic Kitty” and enjoys time with friends and family.  She lives and plays in Atlanta and enjoys travel whenever time and schedule allows.
